Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin speaks at Fancy Farm

Here are updated salaries of members of Gov. Matt Bevin’s administration obtained from state government’s “Open Door” website. This list – updated Aug. 8, 2016 – reflects a policy announced at the beginning of the administration providing 5 percent raises for officials who have served at least six months in their new jobs. For instance, a cabinet secretary’s salary increased from $130,476 to $137,000 after six months. (The $137,000 salary is still a bit less than salaries of $137,865 paid to cabinet secretaries under former Gov. Steve Beshear in 2013-14.)

Because salary data on the “Open Door” website was updated on Friday for the first time in many weeks, there are many new names included on this list since the last time it was updated in May.
