Governor Bevin sees economic advantages of the Kentucky Derby

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin stopped by Churchill Downs Tuesday morning.

He took time to talk with the WDRB in the Morning team on the backside about the economic impact of the Kentucky Derby. The governor also discussed his plan to call a special session for lawmakers to work on the state’s pension problem.

Gov. Bevin has been busy this week preparing the state for the influx of visitors from around the world.
