FRANKFORT- The Kentucky House Republican caucus announced the members chosen to chair the budget subcommittees and co-chair ten statutory committees. 

Of the 18 positions–none are female. 

The House Budget Review Subcommittee determine how state dollars should be allocated in the biennium budget. While the statutory committee co-chair has a counterpart in the Senate, this committee meets monthly. 

“The subcommittees and statutory committees within the General Assembly are critical when it comes to vetting the budget and providing sound oversight to all areas of state government,” said Speaker-Designate David Osborne of Prospect in a release. “I am confident that this group’s collective expertise and work ethic will lead to positive results for the Commonwealth.”
