FRANKFORT. Ky. (WYMT) – Kentucky’s Secretary of State announced Tuesday that close to 100 women are seeking seats in Kentucky’s General Assembly.
More than 550 candidates had filed with the Secretary of State for various offices on the primary election ballot for May 22, 2018, including more than 200 candidates for seats in the Kentucky House of Representatives.
More than 1,000 candidates have filed for local offices across Kentucky’s 120 counties.
