COVINGTON– In just days, the videos of a Covington Catholic High School student and a Vietnam veteran at an Indiginous Peoples March have been seen millions of times, and in each version of the incident, more details are revealed.

In short, a small group of men calling themselves Hebrew Israelites were at the National Mall yelling at both a group of students from Covington Catholic High School and the people in the Indiginious Peoples March.

The videos show one person from the two groups, Nathan Phillips and Nick Sandmann, walking toward each other, both now saying they wanted to find a way to defuse the situation. Instead of doing that, the incident escalated as Phillips did a native prayer involving his drum and Sandmann stood unmoving just in front of him.

Now, lawmakers from both sides of the aisle are weighing in on the incident.

Hear from Kentucky Representative Dennis Keene from Newport, and Congressman Thomas Massie in the video above.
