The U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Kentucky, Robert Duncan, Jr. announced his resignation to be effective at midnight, January 24th. In a statement, Duncan said he plans to enter private legal practice in Lexington. Duncan along with other U.S. Attorneys announced last week that they would investigate and prosecute those who committed crimes at the capitol riot last week.
